Welcome...

This site will help you learn more about me, Steve Moitozo II. I got my first computer when I was 12 and never looked back. At age thirteen I was invited to interview for a position with Bath Iron Works (BIW) to develop an "internet" system for keeping the Pentagon informed about the construction status of naval destroyers. That was in the Eighties.

From 1993 to 2015 I worked as a professional in the field of technology. I designed software and hardware plans for a number of enterprises, built many middleware and back-end systems, and put many many Web sites together. I worked on multi-million dollar Internet-related development projects, lead architecture evaluations for identity and access management solutions, and lead many cross-functional team projects.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with business customers and end-users as well as technical staff such as developers and software engineers. I did many diverse projects and had many differnet titles, programmer, systems architect, software architect, technical marketing manager, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and even Chief Executive Officer (CEO). My ability to hear the issues and develop both process and technology solutions to business challenges was a valuable asset to the companies and customers I was involved with.

I have always had a foot in technology and a foot in business leadership. In fact, I negotiated my first corporate buy-out when I was 19 and have been involved in the start up of several business ventures over the years. In 2015 I transitioned my career to focus on helping established organizations evolve their business models through disciplined business innovation. Since then I have developed skills in the area of innovation leadership, change management, and intellectual property strategy. My LinkedIn profile provides an up-to-date view of my career path.
